Security Hot Stamping Foil :

Hot stamping is a prime example of hologram application that applies the factors of pressure, time, and heat to form an unbreakable bond between image and substrate. Once the hologram is applied, it cannot be removed and final security is held permanently. Hot stamping images can be packed with security features such as: Microtext, Filtered Image, Hidden Image, Finger Print, Intentional Error, Fractal Effect, Demetalizing, Sensitizing.

Hologram Hot Stamping:

  1. Stamping Area
It is possible to regulate the shape of the stamped image by the use of a custom made die this can be incorporated into basic document/card design and further enhance both security and aesthetics.
  2. Image Options
    1. Specific image
On image registered optically to occupy a specific postion.
    2. Wall paper image
A continuous security pattern that allows freedom to place as required without registration.
  3. Roll on stripe
This is applied at high speed on speciallized machines that will lay a thin stripe of holographic material onto a wide variety of generally lower value one trip documents such as:
    • Security Paper
Train ticket, cigarette tax stamp, SKPD, certificate of diploma, and many others.
    • Paper, we apply it onto NOKIA warranty card, IGUANA hang tag, SAMPOERNA and SANBE label.
    • Polycello, widely used on TAY PIN SAN traditional medicine sachet, HIO HARUM and TANINDO packaging.
    • OPP Heat seal able, used at BINTANG TOEJOE wrapping.

Hot Stamping Foil
Hot Stamping Foil is produced by applying a series of coatings to a base film normally PET this can include a release layer, embossed layer plus tie coat and finally a metallised layer which utilises vacuum coated aluminum. It is this layer that provides the mirror finish that enables the hologram to replay in all of its rainbow glory….

How To Apply?
Hot Stamping Foil is a dry printing process in which color pigments or metallic is transferred from a continuous roll to the object being decorated which can be paper, board, plastic, wood frame and textile using heat, pressure and time.

The process of foiling is achieved when a special cliché or die is mounted on a platen and heated. Foil is then placed between the cliché or the die and the material being decorated. The heat and pressure is given to the die against the foil, the heat releases the foil from the film carrier. The foil fuses everywhere pressure is applied creating special image as designed.

Hot Stamping Foil is a special unique product which could not be replaced with other printing material. Foil stamping, also called hot stamping, dry stamping, foil imprinting can be combined with dimensional embossing to make letters and images on business cards, book covers, gift cards, office folders, and a whole host of professional or personal items. Why the foil is a special unique product?

  • No other printing process or material can give the similar brightness of metallized finishes.
  • Give a solid special color like bright gold, natural wood pattern etc, while other inks like offset and gravure could not achieve.
  • Can be applied on a wide range of material easily, on a flat or textured substrate like pencil, paper, picture frame and other material.

The WESSLER Foil ranges today includes metallized gold, silver, and metallic colours , pigments (flat, semi-gloss and gloss) multi-color, wood grain and marble effects, brushed finishes, chrome, leather look, clear, pearlescents and holographic.
